The family-friendly Wing Kei Walk-a-thon is in support of senior care in Calgary. After the Opening ceremonies at Sown Lok Park in downtown Calgary, we were set up along the first part of the course to cheer on the participants as they started the race.
The Chinese Cultural Centre hosted a lunch and stage performances after the walk-a-thon had finished. We accompanied the Yosoca yosakoi dance group for their energetic performance, and then we performed onstage to conclude the multicultural performances.
