Paula and Holger taught a taiko workshop for the Calgary Orff Chapter entitled "Taiko and Song", and our ensemble gave a special presentation in the afternoon, to demonstrate taiko ensemble. The Orff WOrkshop participants made their own gomi-daiko (garbage can drum) and dowel bachi, spent the day learning taiko basics, and then were treated with a demonstration of naname, beta, and miyake style of taiko.
